9. PERRY GREEN² JOHNSTON (LEWIS¹) (#608) was born in North Carolina, January 16, 1810. PERRY died August 16, 1895 in Lone Star, Parker County, Texas, at 85 years of age. His body was interred August 17, 1895 in Parker County, Texas, Goshen Cemetery. His obituary says that he was living with his son, Joe, in Lone Star, but died of a heart attack while having dinner in the home of a friend. 

He married KATHARIN BALDWIN VEAZEY in Newton County, Georgia, March 24, 1833. (KATHARIN BALDWIN VEAZEY is #816.) KATHARIN was born in Georgia in 1811. KATHARIN died August 27, 1884 in Goshen, Parker County, Texas, at 73 years of age. Her body was interred in Parker County, Texas, Goshen Cemetery.

Note: Perry Green Johnston lived in Newton County, Georgia, until around 1842.  They then moved to Lafayette County, Mississippi, where they stayed until late 1879 or very early 1880.  The 1880 Census finds Perry Green and Katharin living with widowed daughter, Sarah Missouri Dunlap, in Parker County, Texas.   Responses to ad in Lafayette County newspaper, ran in 1927 by Charles G., said that descendants of P. G. (grandchildren) could be located in Knox County, Texas, near the town of Goree. To date, I have not been able to confirm that.

46 iii. JOHN LEWIS JOHNSTON (#819) was born in Newton, County, Georgia (probably) in 1841. JOHN died at unknown date.

47 iv. HARRIETT JAIN JOHNSTON (#820) was born in Newton County, Georgia in 1843. HARRIETT died at unknown date. Note: Harriett "Jain", may be "Jane"

+ 48 v. SARAH MISSOURI JOHNSTON, (twin of Georgia Rebecca) was born in 1845.

49 vi. GEORGIA REBECCA JOHNSTON (#822), (twin of Sarah Missouri)  was born in Mississippi in 1845. GEORGIA died at unknown date.

50 vii. CATHERINE NEWELL JOHNSTON (#823) was born in Mississippi in 1854. CATHERINE died at unknown date. Note: "Catherine" Newell, may be "Katharin," after her mother
