186. CYNTHIA TENNESSEE⁵ JOHNSTON (CHARLES GREGORY⁴, LEWIS BURTON³, GEORGE GREGORY ("G.G." OR "GREG")², LEWIS¹) (#685) was born in Gatewood, Ripley County, Missouri, December 29, 1872, a twin of Thomas D. Johnston (#691). CYNTHIA died February 20, 1914 in Deming, New Mexico, at 41 years of age.

She married JOHN WILLIAM LUTER  in Randolph County, Arkansas, December 26, 1888. (JOHN WILLIAM LUTER is #686.) JOHN was born March 9, 1864 in Marshall County, Kentucky. He was the son of John Thomas Luter and Sarah Jane Lindsey.. JOHN died August 2, 1955 at 91 years of age in Texarkana, Miller County, Arkansas. .  

CYNTHIA TENNESSEE JOHNSTON and JOHN WILLIAM LUTER had the following family:

364 i. HERBERT⁶ LUTER (#687) was born in Middlebrook, Randolph County, Arkansas on October 18, 1889.  He married MONTICE DITTY (#1952) on September 12, 1918.  Herbert died on December 28, 1980 in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas at 91 years of age.  His body was interred in Edgewood Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

365 ii. RAYMOND LUTER (#688) was born on February 9,1891 in Middlebrook, Randolph County, Arkansas.  

366 iii. MARY ESSIE LUTER (#689) was born on August 31, 1893 in Middlebrook, Randolph County, Arkansas.   She married ASBURY WILLIAMS in April 1922. ASBURY WILLIAMS (#1954) was born on unknown date.  MARY died on January 21, 1977 in Dallas, Dallas County,  Texas.

+ 367 iv. ZELMA FLORENCE LUTER was born on April 17, 1899.
