127 viii. RUFUS M.⁴ JOHNSTON (#931)  WILLIAM PERRY GREEN³ JOHNSTON (GEORGE GREGORY ("G.G." OR "GREG")², LEWIS¹)was born in Randolph County, Arkansas on October 15, 1869. RUFUS died June 25, 1955 in Randolph County, Arkansas, at 85 years of age. His body was interred in Randolph County, Arkansas, Johnston Cemetery.

He married LENA MAHALEY ROBINSON (#2491) in Randolph County, Arkansas in 1900. Lena was born on January 19, 1885. Lena died on September 17, 1971 in Randolph County, Arkansas at 86 years of age. Her body was interred in Randolph County, Arkansas, Johnston Cemetery. In 1910, Rufus M. Johnston owned, and farmed, 75 acres of bottom land in Reyno, Randolph County, Arkansas.

RUFUS M. "RUFE" JOHNSTON and LENA MAHALEY ROBINSON had the following family:

     i. RUFUS GERALD JOHNSTON ⁵  (#2503) was born in Randolph County, Arkansas on October 11, 1903.  Rufus died on February 1, 1965 in Rockford, Illinois, at 61 years of age. His body was interred in Randolph County, Arkansas, Johnston Cemetery.  He married RUBY J. (---------) (#2504) on date unknown.  Ruby was born on November 11, 1910.

    ii. CLEAL (OR CLEO) M. JOHNSTON (#2505) was born in Reyno, Randolph County, Arkansas on October 18, 1907.  

   iii. WILLIAM H. "Bill" JOHNSTON (#2507) was born in Randolph County, Arkansas on December 22, 1910.   William died on July 20, 1996 in Pocahontas, Arkansas at 85 years of age.  His body was interred in Randolph County, Arkansas in Johnston Cemetery. He married TRACIE L. GARRISON (#2508) in place and on date unknown. Tracie was born on March 25, 1914 and died on September 25, 1991 in Pocahontas, Arkansas at 77 years of age.  Her body was interred in Johnston Cemetery in Randolph County, Arkansas.
