136 xviii. AMANDA ELIZABETH  JOHNSTON ⁴   (#941) . WILLIAM PERRY GREEN³ JOHNSTON (GEORGE GREGORY ("G.G." OR "GREG")², LEWIS¹)was born in Little Black Township, Randolph County, Arkansas on August  7, 1888 . AMANDA died on December 21, 1949 in Corning, Clay County, Arkansas, at 61 years of age.  Her body was interred in Corning, Clay County, Arkansas in Corning Cemetery.

She married three times. She married WILLIAM FRANK COCHRAN (#2532) in Randolph County, Arkansas on December 4, 1904.  William was born in Randolph County, Arkansas on July 9, 1885.  William died on February 14, 1920 in Corning, Clay County, Arkansas at 34 years of age.  He was the son of William Cockrum and Mary Elizabeth Spence.

She married J. B. GIBBS (#2542) in Corning, Arkansas on January 10, 1921. 

She married JAMES MARTIN BARNETT (#2543) probably in Corning, Arkansas, on October 11, 1931.  James was born on February 12, 1874.  James died on July 20, 1934 in Corning, Clay County, Arkansas, at 60 years of age.  His body was interred in Corning, Clay County, Arkansas, Corning Cemetery.

AMANDA ELIZABETH JOHNSTON and WILLIAM FRANK COCKRAN had the following family:

     i.  LOLA DELL COCKRAN   ⁵  (#2535)      was born in Success, Clay County, Arkansas on September 26, 1905.   Lola died on July 3, 1991 in Corning, Clay County, Arkansas at 85 years of age.   Her body was interred in Corning, Clay County, Arkansas, Corning Cemetery.   She married twice:

She married ARVEL HICKS (#2536) on December 9, 1922.  Arvel was born in Success, Clay County, Arkansas on March 23, 1903.  Arvel died on March 23, 1974 in Paragould, Green County, Arkansas, at 71 years of age. His body was interred in Corning Cemetery in Corning, Clay County, Arkansas.

She married ROBERT ELLIOTT (#2544) in Corning, Clay County, Arkansas on April 17, 1975.   Robert was born on July 11, 1907.  Robert died on May 19, 1983 in Corning, Clay County, Arkansas at 75 years of age.  His body was interred in Corning, Clay County, Arkansas, Corning Cemetery.

    ii. EULIS WELDON COCHRAN (#2537) was born on March 6, 1907 and died on June 6, 1996.

   iii. PEARL MAE COCHRAN (#2538) was born on December 20, 1908.

   iv. WILLIAM RALPH COCHRAN (#2539) was born on October 1, 1910 and died on October 20, 1983.

    v. LOWELL FRANKLIN COCHRAN (#2540) was born on August 5, 1912 and died on December 12, 1957.

   vi. ROY FRANKLIN COCHRAN (#2541) was born on May 25, 1919.
