v.   WILHELMINA AMANDA "WILLIE MANDY" JOHNSTON ⁵   (#1986) . SIDNEY BRAGG JOHNSTON ⁴(#913) JAMES FRANKLIN³ JOHNSTON (GEORGE GREGORY ("G.G." OR "GREG")², LEWIS¹) was born in Randolph County, Arkansas, March 10, 1891 and died on November 11, 1977 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at 86 years of age.  Her body was interred in Clarkton, Missouri, Mt. Gilead Cemetery.

She married JAMES EMANUEL HOGAN (#2726) in Randolph County, Arkansas on September 21, 1917.  James was born in McDougal, Clay County, Arkansas on January 30, 1879.   James was the son of James W. Hogan and Fannie E. Richardson.  James died on June 4, 1942 in Campbell, Missouri, at 63 years of age.  His body was interred in Clarkton, Missouri, Mt. Gilead Cemetery. 

Note: 1. James E. Hogan was previously married to Miss Ollie Harper, and they had at least 5 children, Adam, Ruth, Mable, Gladys and Ruby, before Ollie Harper Hogan died on 2-21-1917, of influenza. Apparently Ruth Hogan died, probably of the same influenza, very quickly after her mothers death. On September 21, 1917, exactly 6 months after the death of his first wife, the 38 year old widower with 4 children, all under 10 years of age, married the 26 year old Willie Mandy Johnston.

2. In addition to the 4 children that came with James, Willie had 2 children of her own, a daughter, Marie, born about 1911 and a son, Clyde, born in October 1915. It is unclear whether Willie had been previously married or not, or what the children's surname actually was. Marie grew up under the care of her grandparents, Sidney and Maggie Johnston, and used the surname Johnston. Clyde stayed with his mother and used the surname Hogan.

    ii.  CLYDE T. HOGAN (#3740) was born on October 15, 1915 in Randolph County, Arkansas.  

   iii.. JAMES PAUL HOGAN ⁶  (#2729) was born in Green County, Arkansas on September 18, 1918. 

  iv. WANDA CHRISTINE HOGAN (#2731) was born in Green County, Arkansas, on August 19, 1920.  

    v. ALDINE WILLIE HOGAN (#2733) was born in Green County, Arkansas on July 12, 1922. 

    vi.   MARGIE MAXINE HOGAN (#2734) was born in Dunklin County, Missouri on July 21, 1924.

   vii.   THELMA MURBAN HOGAN (#2735) was born in Dunklin County, Missouri on May 14, 1928. 

   viii. DELMAR WILLIAM HOGAN (#2736) was born in Dunklin County, Missouri on October 14, 1930. 

    ix. ELAINE VESTA HOGAN (#2737) was born in Campbell, Dunklin County, Missouri on November 8, 1934.
