261 iii. ROXIE GERTRUDE KERLEY ⁵ (#1995)  ARENA JANE⁴ JOHNSTON (JAMES FRANKLIN³, GEORGE GREGORY ("G.G." OR "GREG")², LEWIS¹) was born in Randolph County, Arkansas, on November 14, 1883. Roxie died on January 27, 1929 in Parsons, La Bette County, Kansas at 45 years of age.

She married THOMAS Jefferson CANNON (#2774)  in Randolph County, Arkansas on December 5, 1901.  Thomas was born in Lincoln County, Missouri on December 28, 1876. He was the son of David Hubbard Cannon and Lucinda Jane (Capps) Nichols. He died on October 26, 1933 in Parson, La Bette County, Kansas at 56 years of age.  He was buried in Mound Valley, Kansas in Mounds Valley Cemetery.

ROXIE GERTRUDE KERLEY and THOMAS JEFFERSON CANNON had the following family:

     i.  JAMES LOWELL CANNON (#2877) was born in Randolph County, Arkansas on October 5, 1902.  James died on April 17, 1983, in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, at 80 years of age.

    ii.  OTTO HUBBARD CANNON (#2875) was born in Randolph County, Arkansas on December 31, 1903.  Otto died on August 5, 1973, Parsons, La Bette County, Kansas  at 69 years of age

    iii.  THOMAS LEE CANNON (#3894) was born in Randolph County, Arkansas on August 21, 1907.  Thomas died on August 3, 1912 in Randolph County, Arkansas, at 4 years of age.  Thomas died during the funeral services for Mabel Cannon.

     iv.  MABEL CANNON (#2876)  was born in Randolph County, Arkansas on August 1 or 2, 1912.  Mabel died on August 2, 1912 in Randolph County, Arkansas.

      v.  DELBERT EUGENE "GENE" CANNON (#3895) was born in Randolph County, Arkansas on May 29, 1913.  Delbert died on December 21, 1984 in Wisconsin, at 71 years of age.

     vi.  RUBY ESTHER CANNON (#3896) was born in Randolph County, Arkansas on February 17, 1916.  Ruby died on February 28, 1998, Santa Ana, California, at 82 years of
age.

   vii.  HAZEL CANNON (#3897) was born in Parsons, La Bette County, Kansas on January 13, 1919.

  viii.  HASSEL CANNON (twin of Helen) (#3898) was born in Parsons, La Bette County, Kansas on July 23, 1921.  Helen died on July 3, 1992, in Lakewood, California,  at 70 years of age.

   ix.  HELEN CANNON (twin of Hassel) (#3899) was born in Parsons, La Bette County, Kansas on July 23, 1921.  Helen died on June 14, 1970, in Lawton, Oklahoma,  at 48 years of age.

    x.  DOROTHY LOUISE CANNON (#3900) was born in Parsons, La Bette County, Kansas on November 26, 1924.  Dorothy died on November 2, 1991, in Orange, Orange County, California, at 66 years of age.
