+  iv. RHEMUS RUSSELL JOHNSTON JR.⁶ (#3419) RHEMUS RUSSELL JOHNSTON⁵  (#3119)  LEWIS PEYTON⁴ JOHNSTON (LEWIS BURTON³, GEORGE GREGORY ("G.G." OR "GREG")², LEWIS¹) was born on July 1, 1923. Rhemus died on May 26, 1997 in Carrollton, Texas at 73 years of age. His body was interred in Dallas, Texas in Restland Cemetery.

He married ELMA JOYCE STEELE (#3440) in Dallas, Texas on November 7, 1942. Elma was born on January 3, 1925. Elma died on March 5, 2001 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas is buried at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, TX. 

RHEMUS RUSSELL JOHNSTON JR. and ELMA JOYCE STEELE had the following children:

    i. JUDY JOYCE JOHNSTON⁷ (#3441) was born in Dallas, Texas on October 28, 1947.

   ii. RANDAL RUSSELL "RANDY" JOHNSTON⁷ (#3445) was born in Dallas, Texas on March 17, 1950. He married twice. He married JANE ANN PALMER (#3443) on May 19, 1973. Jane was born in Alliance, Alaska on May 4, 1951. He then married PATRICIA BURROWS PARKER (#3620) in Dallas, Texas on March 8, 1986. Patricia was born on December 31, 1946.
