+    CHARLES WILLIAM LEWIS JOHNSTON⁶ (#3449)  CHARLES EDGAR JOHNSTON⁵ (#3120) LEWIS PEYTON⁴ JOHNSTON (LEWIS BURTON³, GEORGE GREGORY ("G.G." OR "GREG")², LEWIS¹) was born on September 14, 1917.

He married three times. He married RUTH V. WEAVER (#3455) on August 15, 1935.

He married MAE CROUCH (#3458)  on April 11, 1939.

He married FLORENCE WHISENANT (#3459) on June 4, 1953.  Florence was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on June 1, 1917.

CHARLES WILLIAM LEWIS JOHNSTON and RUTH V. WEAVER had the following children:

+     i. VIRGINIA CHARLENE JOHNSTON⁷ (#3456) was born on May 12, 1936.

      ii. BABY BOY JOHNSTON (#3457) was born and died on September 17, 1938.

CHARLES WILLIAM LEWIS JOHNSTON and MAE CROUCH had the following child:

     iii. ELLEN LUCILLE JOHNSTON (#3460) was born on November 5, 1940.
